Would you like to join the Legacy Residents Advisory Committee?

The Legacy Residents Association currently has an Advisory Committee composed of members of West Creek developments as well as Legacy residents. As the community grows, we would like to see an increased participation by the residents in the decisions made for the community. With that end in mind, we are adding a resident position to our Advisory committee. The following states the commitment and responsibilities of being a member of this committee.

• This volunteer role entails a two-year minimum term
• Attending meetings once per quarter and the Annual Meeting
• Voting on overall decisions for the Legacy Residents Association with the community in mind

If you are interested in becoming a part of the Legacy Residents Association Advisory Committee and have direct input in the future of your community, please submit your resume and cover Letter to info@legacyresidents.ca.

We will choose a new member for the committee by May 1, 2022.

2021 Legacy Christmas Light Parade

Legacy’s 7th annual Christmas Light Parade is back tonight! With over 1-million lights, Legacy will be one of the brightest places in Calgary for you and your family to enjoy this holiday season. Drive through the community, tour a decorated show home or bundle up and take a walk along the many lit-up streets, parks and through tunnels of lights. Our new arches will arrive next week and we will be adding the final touches in the next few days. We hope you enjoy the holiday season in Legacy.

Legacy Grass Master Contest

The Legacy Residents Association together with the Legacy Garden Committee is happy to announce the fist ever Grass Master Contest.

Have spotted a gorgeous, lush lawn in our community? Now there is an opportunity to recognize your neighbour’s hard work by nominating them for the title of LEGACY GRASS MASTER.

What can they win?

Frist prize and title of Legacy Grass Master – $300

Second prize – $100

Third prize –  $50

How does it work?

Any resident can nominate a neighbours lawn by sending an email to info@legacyresidents.ca with your name and the address you would like to nominate. A garden committee member will then place a nomination sign on their lawn for the community to recognize who is in the running for the title of Legacy Grass Master. At the end of the season, judges from the Garden Committee will visit each nomination sign and the winners will be announced and awarded their prizes.

Contest ends September 1, 2021.

Legacy Residents Association 2021 Annual General Meeting

Due to Covid- 19 gathering restrictions and social distancing, the LRA was unable to hold its Annual General Meeting in person. We have decided to publish the annual meeting presentation that we would have done in person, online to continue to keep residents informed.

LEGACY RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION 2021 FEES

2021 Legacy Residents Association fee notices have been emailed to all residents with an email address on record. Please check your inbox. For those without an email on record a letter with your statement of fees has been sent by mail. Don’t forget that fees are due June 1st.

2020/2021 SKATING RINKS ARE OPEN

The 2020/2021 Legacy Skating rinks are now OPEN. We hope you enjoy some family time together at the rink. We ask you to please follow all the posted signs and remember to follow COVID regulations. 2020 Christmas Lights Parade

Legacy’s 6th annual Christmas Light Parade is back! With over 1-million lights, Legacy will be one of the brightest places in Calgary for you and your family to enjoy this holiday season.  Drive through the community, tour a decorated show home or bundle up and take a walk along the many lit-up streets, parks and through tunnels of lights. This year, we’ve added over 200,000 lights, new figurines and twinkling Christmas trees. Starting November 16th, Legacy will be one of the best and brightest places to visit this holiday season
